9. The Road to Kington Langley; approaching Greathouse

You are at the north-west corner of the field, with a trackway ahead and slightly right, leading to the back of Greathouse; this is the previous name of the building now known as Kin House. Keep left (away from the track), and head towards the main road along the edge of the field, keeping the trees on your right.

Greathouse / Kin House is the only grade I or grade II* building in the parish of Kington Langley. It was constructed in 1699 and extended in 1910. It was originally a farhouse, in the 1800s was a textile factory, and from 1960 to 2018 was a residential home for the Leonard Cheshore Foundation.
